Current collaborations
The faculty at Kumara School collaborates within and outside our school. Collaboration and relationships are the conduits for deepening understanding and professional growth. Our current collaborations include:
- Innovative Teacher Project Directors Group
This group collaborates to share resources for professional development, to create initiatives for professional growth and to develop and support innovative collaborative structures between and with in the individual schools
- North America Reggio Emilia Alliance
- Rethinking The Language of Dramatic Play: Reggio Inspired Educators take a deeper look
- Visiting Teacher Program
Kumara welcomes teachers from other programs to come and visit the school and see our program in action.

We are currently involved in an ongoing professional development collaboration focused on deepening our understanding of our educational values and expressing them more fully in our work.
